ECU # questions

ok so the 79 is the rwd ca18det and the 78 is the fwd ca18det ecu from what i read in an old thread. are they interchangeable?? also, is a 65 a ca18det ecu?

i had 99 or 98 i think?

look at the smaller numbers below that. thatll tell you if its auto or what not also/

78,79,98,99 are all RWD ca18det, some are Auto and some are 5spd,

23,24 are AWD/FWD auto, 5spd.

The 99 and 79 are the auto ones.

I think the 65 was either an auto or manual non-catalyzer model.
