what i meant to say was a good after market ecu for a 89 ka24e

JWT, Jet, Stillen, they all do the same thing: remap fuel and spark curve, raise rev limit, and eliminate speed limit. I know some or all will do custom programming for what modifications you already have on the car if you tell them what you've changed on it. An ungraded ECU will usually require high octane gas, and lower temp thermostat.

What he means is you send them the ecu through the mail and pay $500, and they change stuff in it based on what you tell them you want.
