ecu question?

i have a 93 nissan hardbody im swappin my ka24e for a det ka i was wondering if the ecu from a 240 s14 would work in my truck?

get the wiring harness as well from the 240.

I'm thinking the S14 ECU might not only work, but also be required for the DE motor swap.

well i know the de has the same plughs all but one and i was curios if i could use myu wiring harness and plug the s14 or s13 ecu into that?

I'm not sure myself, I would hate to tell you to go ahead and try it then have something burn out. The truck has Hitachi and the 240sx has Jecs ECU's, and I believe the truck is 8-bit where the 240sx DE is 16-bit.

I read a few days ago in the KA forum where an owner tried a SOHC ECU on a DOHC motor, and it would idle but not run above that, so I don't know.
