ECU question

just curious i have an sr20det blacktop s13 and the ecu code is E5 i put a 62 ECU on it and it runs great! when i bought the motorset the ecu looked kinda banged up but it has been running really bad before i swaped with the new 62 ecu

does it matter the ecu code?? for the motor

someone told me i can use any s13 sr ecu just not the J4 Type x ecu !???

just curious i dont want to spend 200 on ebay and have it not be the right thing

What are you spending 200 for, didn't you already put a new 62 on it and it runs fine or were you borrowing one. Regardless you answered your own question.... the car runs fine doesn't it?

I've got a redtop 62 ECU if you want it. Never used it I bought it off another member here thinkin it was my problem and it wasn't. It's never been used, just opened.
