ECU Question

Guys i have searched the boards and google but just cant find an answer... why is it that my ecu is #78 and it seems like everybody else is using #98?? Do I have the correct ecu, I have a 5-speed if it matters. Thanks

it did for like a month (then my stock maf went out which leads to another story,i got a z32 maf and safcII and never again did it run right)

when it stops all this BS outside, ill look at MY ECU. i believe very much that its a 98 tho. i could almost PROMISE you that it is. i dont know much about ECU numbers and such on these cars, I am using Emanage BLUE on my car, i would never run an AFC again, they dont control timing, and thats a big point with a CA.

It's probably just and automatic ECU. They work just fine. No speed limiter is the main difference.

yea i tried searching as that was one of my hypothesis...you say they work fine but will a 5 speed run better are both exactly the same??
