ecu question
A while back I was going to check my ecu for (62) codes or whatnot and noticed that no matter how I turned the screw I was getting no flashing at all. I came to the conclusion that the ecu wasnt throwing any codes. I wanted to know if there is any safe way to trip an ecu code intentionally?? My reasoning for doing this is to see if the ecu bulb is working. My car has slight idle problem and the SAFC II that came with the car is picking up some knock after the car is warmed up, only if I get stuck in traffic. Anywhere from 1-10 at idle and maybe as much as 40 at wot. Just got the car, it was already swaped and I am just ironing out some demons. Any input.
