i heard that a 95 ecu on a 91 engine would work and was a good set up. but then i also heard that the 95 ecu would not work. i have a 91 ecu and and thinkin about buyin the 95 ecu if it is better. if any one knows please help.

Depends.. the ECU has to be OBDI and it will work but some '95s were OBDII, after that, 96+ were OBDII... The only differences would be the automatic version has no speed limiter.. you should try and find an Automatic '91 ECU if you have a manual.

I'm pretty sure a 91 harness plug won't work on a 95 ecu, unless you did some serious cutting and splicing. Its not worth the effort.
