Get one from a 91-94 and you'll be ok. Get an auto ecu & you will get a slightly more aggresive fuel map & remove the rev limiter (easy cheap upgrade, found out from other posts - seems to work for a lot of guys).

You want to get the same year ECU, but you can make others work.

Hitting the speed limit early might be a speed sensor failure.
