ecu question about j4 and 62 and fuel rail not getting any gas threw

i bought a red top sr20det and it came with a j4 ecu but the ecu was cracked so i just bought a new one but its a 62!. would that stop my car from running??? cause my fuel rail isnt getting any gas out of it when i crank it

They are unrelated problems if your fuel pump is priming. Perhaps you reversed the fuel lines.

its reading now i grounded my injectors and it starts now but it doesnt stay on cause i need to do the timing but how do i do the timing???

also im not sure if the reason that it wont idle is that maybe it has a really big vacuum leak, or if the regulator is not pushing enough pressure or too much. How would a go about checking the regulators pressure and also were are all the vacuum lines besides by the throttle body area??? it is a red top sr

how exactly did u ground ur injectors...i swapped to an e5 ecu in my black top and with the e5 ecu i cant get any fuel to my fuel rail but i can get it with the old ecu?

3 of the 4 injectors fire with old ecu and

None fire with my e5 ecu? any ideas?
