ECU Q's

Hey tried searching but could find anything.I have a #62 ecu and my question is it say's it's tuned but i'm not sure and i'm looking for help.THere's a 40 pins sticking up. 2 rows of 20 that looks like something should plug into it but nothing is there. Is this right???

What?Are you saying you have a ECU that says its tuned on it?40 pins? You mean the ECU is missing half the harness that plugs into it?

when you remove the ecu top is there a big board with the 40 pins discribed right there near the top of the ecu, but not on the actual ecu board?? if so then yes it is tuned, under the daughterboard[the thing with 40 pins] there should be two eproms, little rectangles about 1/2" by 1 1/2"... if there are no eproms under it then its use less..

if so the your missing this chip - on top of the cover the ecu is useless without the chip
