Hi everyone. My mum's Nissan Altima 2000 model got damaged, and I'm in the process of getting another used one for a replacement.

Are there other methods of programming the new ECU using a paperclip, as its done on some Toyota vehicles, without using a professional scan tool?

Please I you've ever done programming without using a scan tool, could you post how you did it?

I have being using paperclips to program ECU on Toyotas for sometime now.
