I did a search and no one seemed to have this same problem:
NuMbeR 1 SLacKah: NuMbeR 1 SLacKah: ive thought of other things NuMbeR 1 SLacKah: and someone suggested the ECU NuMbeR 1 SLacKah: ive always had this starting problem NuMbeR 1 SLacKah: where unless its freezing NuMbeR 1 SLacKah: it starts and dies unless I hold the pedal down a bit NuMbeR 1 SLacKah: and then once it gets warm NuMbeR 1 SLacKah: when I slow to a stop NuMbeR 1 SLacKah: it drops to like 100rpms NuMbeR 1 SLacKah: and then bounces up to 600 NuMbeR 1 SLacKah: however NuMbeR 1 SLacKah: when I turn everything off(600w amp-no subs, just speakers), PIAA 135/125watt headlights, and put the e-brake up NuMbeR 1 SLacKah: it idles at 750 NuMbeR 1 SLacKah: but if I push on the brake NuMbeR 1 SLacKah: its at like 600 NuMbeR 1 SLacKah: i thought it was the idle set NuMbeR 1 SLacKah: so i fixed that NuMbeR 1 SLacKah: someone suggested the EGR valve was clogged...checked and it was fine NuMbeR 1 SLacKah: then someone suggested the alternator NuMbeR 1 SLacKah: so I got that checked at Autozone and Checkers NuMbeR 1 SLacKah: and both people said its fine NuMbeR 1 SLacKah: along w/ my battery NuMbeR 1 SLacKah: and the guy at checkers said it could be an ECU prob NuMbeR 1 SLacKah: but he didnt sound super knowledgeable NuMbeR 1 SLacKah: it did this(died at startup) in the summer anyway, but it might be useful to note that I put in an SAFC II NuMbeR 1 SLacKah: and then took it out NuMbeR 1 SLacKah: so I have some wires dangling that maybe are supposed to be connected...hehe
Thanks guys, sorry for the AIM convo but I figured it was the easiest way to transfer it.-Galen
