engine: blacktop sr

problem: start, rough idle, die. won't die if i hold the clutch in, but tries to. i was told that my ecu isn't advancing.

i was then told that reflashing it would fix it. is this true or is my ecu pretty much fried and i should invest in a "new" one/new tune?

enthalpy tune, btw

I have heard that enthalpy stands behind their product. You might want to shoot them an email and tell them whats going on, IF its your ecu... Have you changed anything since the tune? Was your car running fine then it started doing this randomly?

The line about your ECU not advancing doesnt really make any sense. I would think that a fried ecu simply wouldnt run, but iv never dealt with a bad ECU either.

Also, you might have better luck if you post this is the SR forum, im sure some of those guys are way more knowledgeable than me. Iv just got a stock one in my SR that hasnt given me to many problems.
