ecu problem, car wont start

ok so i was reading on ways to remove the speed limiter out of the ka24de and there were a couple of ways, then i read that all you have to do is cut the yellow/green strip wire from the ecu and thats it!! so i drive my car into my garage.. HINT: DRIVE!!! that means my car is running!!! then turn the car off... i cut the wire.. then i tried to start it, doesnt even turn over. so i was like, maybe i cut the wrong one. well i connected it back and tried to start it up.. well, yeah with my luck of course its not gonna start up.. whats wrong??????????????????????? please help.

anything? its not turning over at all!! so maybe its something else? maybe it was just a coincidence it happened at the same time?
