ecu pinout

okay i just spent the past half hour or so looking through ef/ec (or whatever the electroninc section is) in the fsm and im stumped

i went to trace my knock sensor wire because it came loose (on the sensor side) while around the ecu i noticed a wire that had been ripped out of the main connector of the harness @ pin 24.....my car drives fine (other than pulling timing because the knock sensor isnt wired up) and i was wondering if this pin is "important" and if anyone knows what wire/functions it is for

thanks alot...i figure another set of eyes may seee it...and i need to get outside and finish this knocksensor be4 i get lazy and it stays unplugged (been driving like that for a few weeks now

It should go to pin 23, and be a white wire, according to the UK FSM. When I get home I can try verifying its the same in my JDM FSM I have at home, but this should be identical.

no no no lolmy knock sensor wire is fine...im talking about pin 24...does anyone know what its for...pin 23 is the knock sensor....or are u guys sayin that the knock sensor has 2 diff wires??

Pin 24 has no function. You're OK 8ggalant.

float is right, there is no pin24.

if you can't find where it went at least tape it off so it doesn't short something. what color is it?

Thank alot guys...thers no loose wire/or exposed copper, i was just making sure lol *wipes sweat off of forhead*
