ecu part type numbers

I found this ecu in my car when I bought it The numbers on it are 71 23710 88e10 a18-000 e000. I have looked through jwt database on ecu's and its not listed. But carl h said it looked like a 6 or 8 cycl ecu. Someone please help I have been looking for a couple of days.

23710 is the generic Nissan "ECU" part number.88e10 is the actual ROM number (software revision)Other than that I can't tell you much about it. Other than it is pre 2003.

What car is it in? Is it the ECU running the car or was it just in the floorboard?
