ECU or performance chip for the y33?, I have an 00 Q45

anyone know where to get the NICO ECU or any other good chip for a 97-01 Q45? any info very much appreciated

u can send your ecu to Jetchip for about $500 and get about 20hp or get one from Impul for about 2G's (couldn't find da hp #'s check impul's Jspec page)

As of right now there is nothing from impul for the USDM VH41DE, but however I emailed them about 2 months back and just got a response.

This is exciting news they gave me, they are developing a performance ECU for the USDM VH41DE in Quarter 4 of 2009, I dont think many people are aware of this, so spread the word, I have been looking for performance for the us 97-01 q45 for a long time and the tech from impul said development is on the way!

$500 for and whopping extra 20hp...sorry I'll pass. So the y33 will go from 266hp to 286hp? That would be a waste of time and money IMO.

hey check this out.... squires turbo systems ( ststurbo.com ) has a universal remote turbo kit that starts at $1895 and goes up to about $2695[these r sales prices] i know u could get at least 100 hp. they say the turbo they includ depends on your hp goals.
