Hey everyone, i have a simple question, and i hope someone knows... anyway, the number on the side of the ECU, what does it stand for. I was also curious if the ecu with different numbers are interchangable. Like this last month my ecu was fried on my ca18det and the number on the side is 79, but the new ecu i got has the number 98 on it, so i was curious if this would cause my car not to run? If anyone could please answer my queston that would be great...thanx

i posted the same thing a while back, they are interchangable, my old one has a 98 on it, and the SWAT one has a 99 on it. both run the car fine.
