as far as I know (and have been told by others) the big numbers really don't mean anything, except maybe year and or production codes...the small numbers tell you what engine it goes to...other than that i really don't know.

why?

could everyone please post there ECU #'s on here...I might add that to TMS's sticky because it was a question I was having when I was looking for an ECU, and I think it would help out...I'll go get my #'s from the storage unit Monday.

Thanks,Sean

The ecu that I got with my FWD ca18det has these numbers

7823710 36f05MEC-DO16 B1 0727

I am not using this ecu, since I end up programming my stock ca16de by jwt.

But still got no idea what these numbers mean, which I would like to know it though.

Good luck,

PULSAR GTR
