2001 Y33. Runs perfect, idles better than perfect. CEL with code P1105 comes up on my OBDII reader. Call me skeptical, but I don't believe it. Why? 12 months ago I had that code and the KS code which popped at the same time. I replaced the KS (didn't take off the intake) and also replaced the wiring harness between the KS and the BARO/MAP solenoid. KS code went away, BARO/MAP code (P1105) stayed. I don't want to rip into the intake and replace it to find that this wasn't the problem. BTW, I cant find alot of info on this code and how to actually fix (is the solenoid really the problem) so I took it to 2 different shops for them to scope it and see if they can give me more info on this solenoid. What they found is that my ECU will not respond to their scopes!! The ECU won't respond to the factory side. I can pull DTC codes all day but no factory info. So, knowing this, now I'm thinking that the problem is the ECU and not the BARO/MAP solenoid. Much easier to replace the ECU than take off the intake.
Has anyone had any experience with an ECU that will not respond on the factory side??
