ecu location and o2 sensor

where is the ecu located on my 2000 maxima. i think the o2 sensor is bad but need to check which one. will the ecu tell me this?. also, bosch list 4 o2 sensors. does the 2000 maxima have 4 sensors

If its where all the other nissans are, its on the passenger side kick panel...

yes the maxima has 4 o2 sensors

when i look at ecu codes i see 77 for rear and 91 for front. is there another code saying left or right or however they are designated?

URGENT! Before you go replacing the O2 sensors on this model, take it to your local Nissan dealer. There is a service bulletien related to codes showing up for O2 sensors though there's no problem what so ever. I've seen this come through my previous shop 4 or 5 times all on 2000 Maximas. This should be a free dealer fix. I'm going to look up the bulletein and post it for you...
