Hello! I have an intake, headers and 2.5. my check engine light came on after the headers due to the EGR not functioning. I also read that nissan's ECU's limit fuel intake when the check engine light is on? Is this true? If so, then wouldn't taht harm the engine and performance? thanks

if you are running to lean, it can cause pinging. but your ka has a knock sensor that if it is working properly will retard your timing to prevent damage. you would know if this has happened because any perforance you had would go out the window. your car would feel very under powered. have you fixed the egr problem?

nope. its not possible. with the headers, the exhaust flows too fast that it does not have enough flow to open the egr valve. i doubt anyone has normal functioning egr after installing headers, its the main reason its not smog legal right
