ecu is throwing 55 code

i have a black top s13 sr and ive been having trouble. it runs extremely rich has a rough idle some times. somtimes it just starts right up and stays at 1100 rpm, other times i can't get a spark. when it is running pretty well i can rev it to about 3500-4k. but when it runs ****ty i can't get it past 2k. the mafs is good cause before i reved the car to 6k but i couldn't get it to do it again. plase help im so lost and heavythrottle.com and cip motorsports have no clue. if anybody knows whats goin on please help.

55 means everything is o.k. as far as the sensors that the ecu checks when you pull codes (MAFS, CAS, TPS, CTS, etc...)

according to this http://sr20det.nismo.org/srtech.htm ,a 55 means other malfunction consult terminal required.
