I'm looking to buy a 96-98 OBDII 5spd ecu for my trans swap. How can I tell that I'm getting the correct unit? Is there a coding system that tells you its a manual? Color of the plug maybe? My car is an SE model are all ecu's the same when it comes to trim level or should i search for an se model also? I just want to make sure I get the correct one for my trans swap.
