my question is will a s13 blacktop sr20det ecu work with a redtop engine??some one please help me...
something is messed up with my redtop ECU, the o2 sensor port on it is burnt and and when i turn the car off after its been running an gets to temp it has a hot start problem so u have to mess with it a lil to get it started either by uncliping the injector harness and turning the car on or i wired a switch to turn the fuel pump on in off...

well i have an S13 blacktop and i'm runnin' a redtop ecu... my car runs perfect.. from what i was told the only difference is minor changes to the fuel maps.. so an s13 blacktop ecu should work on an s13 redtop if i had to guess

Depends on the ECU and your wire harness. Pinouts were different on Kouiki 180sx ecu's so if you have any harness earlier it won't work UNLESS you repin the harness.
Blacktops should also be using the bigger "fat style" o2 sensor.
