I have a 84 300zx 50th ae. The ecu that I recently bought is 30 part number A18-619 372. Many people said that others ecu from the same year will work but others say that the 50th anniversary has its own ecu and no other ones will work, it that true? Please help someone.thanks

AZ Zbum would be the expert but to my knowledge, the 84-86 turbo ecu's are all the same and the 87-89's would have been treaked a bit for the higher CR and smaller turbo

so 86-up turbo's use the titania O2 sensor, while all n/a's use the zirconium, but all 88-89 use high impeadance injectors where all earlier cars ran low impeadance injecotrs, so he needs an 84-85 turbo ecu unless he wants to get into swapping injectors or o2 sensors
