i just swap my transmission from auto to manual. and it lags when i try to accelerate. i need a new ecu but i was wondering if a ecu from a single cam 240 would work in my twin cam 240

no, you need a ecu from the year your car is........because of the MAFS.

alright so wait. will my auto ecu work with my car? since i swaped it to manual

it should work, you just need to splice and dice the wires for the starter, reverse light and some other wires.

Why are you doing this again? Why do you need a new ECU?

Have you actually proved the ECU to be the problem seeing how you can actually drive it?

I happen to know that all nissan ECU's from this era were programmed with a slight hesitation. Its just one of the main reasons people upgrade to standalones or get re-flashes from JWT. I would suggest you check something else in the motor if it that noticable.
