I am trying to figure out what is up with my car and I pulled the codes tonight off the ECU and code 11 and code 12 came up. I am in the process of resolving code 12 but code 11 has led me to some confusion. I looked in the FSM on how to test the Camshaft Position Sensor and did as it said, remove the sensor, hook a voltmeter to the wires, turn ign on, check voltage, and I came up with the correct voltage. Now my question is, does it matter if the sensor goes in exactly the way it came out? Does it have to be spun the same way it was and does it have to go in at the angle it came out? Thanks.

Absolutely.

Look in the FSM for how to set the timing/ CAS. It has to be installed correctly. (Take off the valve cover, have it at TDC etc etc etc)
