was gonna check my ECU codes and test my 02 sensor via ECU for the 1st time... noticed a hole on the cover; is this for a tech's scanner?

and here's the white plug...where that hole lines up w/...

did any1 modify the ecu so that I don't have to unscrew 3 10mm bolts to turn it around, then use a small screwdriver to set the diag mode?

I cleaned out my TB and the idle went up; previous owner had the idle set w/out cleaning the TB beforehand, soo now I have it set @ 800 rpms w/ a clean TB.

BTW, for other newBs, clockwise turn of the screw = lower rpms

Dude, that is the place for the courtesy lights in the SE models. And that plug, I'm assuming is for the light harness.

Jerome, I don't see the same plug on the driver's side, but I'll double check...

thanx for the heads-up!

89-90 SE designates a hatchback model, while XE is the coupe.

Any1 else know of a way to have easier access? In search, I noticed a guy fabricated a knob so he doesn't have to unbolt the ECU to turn it around and set it to the proper diag mode...what about the LEDs view?
