ok guys I need to find something out. I got my engine and it came with a full harness. The connector that connects into the ECU is broke though. So i need to replace that. Well the ECU they sent me has a different connecter than my harness. The one on my harness is longer then the ECU. I checked the KA connecter and it will fit in the ECu they sent me. so my question is there some way for me to see if this ECU is for a CA or if its for a SR. The reason i say the SR is because we also have an SR over there too...and a japspec H22A for that matter.... If my ECU is infact a CA ECU then i can just use the blue connecter from my KA harness. If anyone can share a little with me that would be great. The only thing i can figure out is that nissan put 2 different size connecters on the ECU's when they made them...

any help would be great

you should have them give you a new unbroken harness while you get the correct ECU, thats not a complete harness now is it

oh and the blue plug that connects to the ecu is DIFFERENT for CA's...SR's and many other Nissans use the same plugs, but whoever put the CA together decided to be difficult. You'll either need to find another Silvia one, or get a Pulsar one...both work!
