what code is 55 on sr20det redtop blink 5 and 5 rapidly some i figure out that it should be 55 also my engine is sounding weird because the rpm bounce about700-1000 then almost dies out unless you press the gas

55 - Other Malfunction. CONSULT Terminal Required

Check your vacuum routing, and the intercooler piping for leaks.

I'd get a multimeter and a FSM (www.camel-towing.com) and run a simple diagnostic on the electrical sensors (MAF, TPS, grounds, etc.)

this what happen i try to hook 300zx maf and it grounded out my ecu ,so i replace thr maf to stock and ecu was replace and when i turn on the car the light from ecu don't come on but the car drives,when i turn it to test mode i get 5beep and 5 rapid beep,how can i determine if something is still grounding out on harness leak for leak and nothing

Few questions.

1. Did you trace the wiring for shorts after your ECU was fried?

2. Have you checked into why it is the MAF caused the ECU to be grounded out.

3. You need a multichecker (voltage / amperage / Ohm tool)

4. What is your native language?
