So there isnt any difference in fuel maps, ignition timing, preferred fuel rating etc etc?

What happens if I put an automatic transmission ECU into a manual car?

It should still run and drive just fine. There are plenty of people that convert to 5speeds and don't change the ECU.

I don't know about the CA, but my 240 was auto to manual swapped and they left the auto ecu in. The auto ecu didn't have a any rev limiters. When I put a manual ecu in it would limit the revs to 4k when not fully warmed up.That's all I noticed.

Oh and the manual ecu had a rev limit of 7k If I remember correctly

This applies to the KA
