I’m getting a code 24 knock sensor or circuit

Can this be caused by bad timing?

Or should I just check the wires and replace the sensor as necessary.

I was concerned when my probe (115hp) was faster then my 240(150hp) so I check for some codes and it's giving me a 34. I’ve cleared it and tried changing the timing but the computer just makes it run at 15 btdc. So now I’m concerned that I can’t time the engine correctly with the ecu throwing this code.

on another posibly related problem the collant temp sensor is reading 80 C or 200 F. is this too high? the temp gauge is in the middle so it seams fine. but my probe is in the red at 205 so it's bugging me.

code 34 is detonation sensor/knock sensor

ECU is detecting abnormal voltage or no voltage at all

Change it out, until you do the car will run in limp mode.
