25 - Idle Air Control Valve Is this bad?....What can I do to fix this problem?

Depending on how long the valve is open, will affect how much air is allowed to flow through it. The FSM says to disconnect the TPS to see if the idle drops, and if it doesn't: disconnect IACV-AAC connector. The positive should be battery voltage when the ignition is the ON position. The TPS should be disconnected during this test. If you have access to the FSM, it gives you step by step how to check it. If not, post back.

I'm sorry to ask this but what is the TPS? Sorry I know only alittle about somethings haha i'm learning though....I dont have access to the FSM, Anybody on here know where to find one to download

The TPS is the throttle position sensor. I'll see if I can find a picture in the FSM of where it is. But its the connector thats above the throttle body.
