Ecu code 21... did research

ok so my car randomly died the other day while driving... so i brought it home and got the codes from the ecu, the only code it gave me was 21 so i tried to look at how to test the distributer and only came up with one alright way, as for the resistor and ignition module i cant find a good way to test it. any help would be amazing
