So replacing the Radiator today, When I Started it up and let the water roll thru the motor it died out. I couldnt get it to start again.

Checking my ECU it flashed Code 11, Which is the Crank Angle Circuit.

Is this code the CAS or PTU?

Could the car not turning over be a problem with the PTU? It was running before, just all the sudden it doesnt wanna start. Faulty PTU?

I read these are on recall. How much do one of these cost via the dealer?

cas code = bad cas or a broken timing belt

if you car has a wad of wire bundled up around the ptu then you already had the recall

Ya it looks like the older version before the recall. I been reading up on the older version PTU's, and most of them came with JDM motors.

Looks like Ill need to get a CAS and PTU off ebay soon. I can use any 90-96 CAS correct? i can use the newer version PTU's for 91-96 as well right?

Someone also said on TT.net that there are two ground leads on the back of the plenum. Its cranking, and the fuel pump is kicking in, but its not turning over.

the cas si the same fomr 90-96 (also the same ont he J30)
the ptu is a bit mroe complicated, the later ptu I believe started on 94-96 is used for the recall campaign on the earlier cars, they use an adapter harness to use the later style ptu on the earlier cars, most cars have been converted using an adapter harness
