I checked chilton and said its my park/neutral switch. Anybody know how to fix this? I tried reseting the ECU, went away for a little bit but came back on acouple of days later.

i answered this question in the technical 240 forum The switch you are talking about is a Nuetral Safety Switch and is usually mounted at the automatic shifter or in the area at the transmission. You wil need to replace it before long. You must have an automatic. If you dont replace the switch, eventually the car will not start in park and if you are lucky it might still start in nuetral, maybe not.

The neutral switch on a manual trans is the upper most switch on the trans at the top closest to the shifter. Check for a broken wire at the switch or the switch plunger being stuck internally.

You can check this from under the vehicle.

Hey fliprayzin240sx, I have the same code, did this cause your car to run funny at all, While driving my car, at no particular speed or rpm, it feels like the car goes into neutral, or feels like the governor just kicked in, then keeps doing it sporadically. I have a 5 spd also. Did you ever have this problem?
