Does anyone know of any companies are people that can chip or re-tune the CA ECU? I found one that people call "Jez Chips" on SXOC.com. But they are in Europe, where's a US ECU tuner?

I thought there was a couple on here, but I don't know what happened to them... My friend is in the process of working on it. Currently he does Z32TT chips. Said the CA map is the same if not easier to work with than the Z32.

sweet. i noticed another ECU chipping thread, but the were discussing 278965 chips or something like that. I had no clue what that was...i was thinking the were tuning the ECU themselves.

they were tuning them themselves and they were talking about having 2 differnt maps on the same chip. AKA high boost/low boost. You just have a switch you wire up to the dash and flip it back and forth.

I'm running one of Jez's Stage 2 chips. Quite a big improvement I have an ARC intercooler, SR t25g turbo, and 2.75in turbo back exhaust on 10psi. Not exactly what its "tuned" for, but it still runs alot stronger than with the stock ECU.

Did you raise the boost to 10psi via the ECU or with the wastegate actuator?

Boost is raised mechanically... ECU has no bearing on the boost level being set unless factory solenoids were in place, which I HIGHLY DOUBT they are.

yep, boost was raised with washers between the wastegate and the turbo itself... It was also raised some with the free flowing exhaust.

Mine are..That's why I was curious if it was/can be done via the ECU.

I've seen the info on the CA's ECU and there is no way to change the boost pressure via a reprogram. Sorry!

yep, its off an s13 SR (mine is a blacktop s13 turbo, but all the s13's use the same turbo). I didn't install the chip, I got the ECU with the chip already installed
