I have a 1986 N/a it would start up fine and then immediately die. I took the car to the shop they said it was the fuel system they replace the fule pump and all the relays and it was still having the same problem. They did some more digging turned out to be the ECU had burnt the circuits for the fule system, but they were extremely burned. Like it was on fire. So I got a new ECU car fired right up. But when I checked my new ECU after turning the car off it was extremely hot. I don't want this one to catch fire too

Sounds like there must be a short in the wiring somewhere. No easy fix, lots of time consuming troubleshooting.

I have a crazy power steering fluid leak coming from the steering wheel area, car smoked like lit was on fire. I noticed the power steering fluid was low so I filled it up drove the car around the block because I had to move it. Is there any line that the pump connects to in that area? I'm having trouble finding the leak

First step, don't use power steering fluid, I know this may sound odd but on Z cars as well as many more modern cars they actually use Dexron type ATF, like power steering fluid it's a hydraulic fluid, however it has a higher operating temperature and a thicker viscosity. using power steering fluid only makes small leaks worse.

When you say a leak near the steering wheel, you mean inside the car? if you have fluid leaking down the inside fo your firewall you have a bad master cylinder and or power booster or clutch slave, and the fluid you see is brake fluid, which looks a lot like power steering fluid which is also a hydraulic fluid only thinner and with a higher operating temperature.

Yeah it was leaking inside of the car
