i traced the grey wire (grey w/ black stripe it turned out to be) back to the ecu, connected it with the red/black wire (red with black stripe) and not my ecu has an incecant buzz when the battery is in the car... and my injectors still don't get power as told to me by my noid light.

Kill yourself now.

You probably just fried your ECU.

The grey wire should lead to the injectors, nowhere else. Noone was kidding when they told you GREY wire, not GREY/BLACK.

Seriously, why ask for help when you OBVIOUSLY know better than all of us.

blow me.

i never pretended to know more about this than anybody else in this case, and if you can't chime in with all you're "knowledge" then stay the **** out, i ask for answers when something doesn't make sense to me, nothing else. like CA18 said, you're a d!ck. and i suspect you replied to this thread in this manner because i pointed out your response in a previous one.

but i figured out what i did, wired up the wrong plug. so if the ecu isn't fried i should be good to go. oh well, if it is fried from this and not my earlier mistake it's a good reason to get a pfc.

sorry to burst your bubble though jon, ecu is probably fine. no melting, burning, char, cracks (yeah some are so small human eye can't see them), pregnant capacitors, discoloration, or other signs of damage. ooh well.. no excuse for pfc or other aftermarket ecu now

#1, I read your other crappy post first#2, You are a moron if you think I care that much about what you think.

So what if I am a d!ck. I can follow advice given when I ask for it, I can build a car from top to bottom in a SAFE and RELIABLE manner. I can read electrical diagrams & Factury manuals. I can diagnose, troubleshoot & repair almost any engine failure. I am happily married and have been for 9 years and have 3 beautiful kids that love me. I am manager of a VERY successful & reputable bodyshop in Albany, NY. If you think that your opinion means more than one of those little chunks of grease under my fingernails than you are sadly mistaken buddy. Grow up. I am actually happy that your ECU isnt fried, because now Idon't have to see you crying about it and trying to find a replacement.

Advice #1, if you ask for help, follow it....don't disregard, find your own "better interpretation" of the answer, then cry when it doesn't work

Advice #2, Don't burn any bridges unless you plan on NEVER having to cross them again!

Advice #3, Don't crap where you sleep

uh huh.... all i can say is good for you. and good for your advice, though when advice leaves a good bit open to interpretation or is just a regurgitation of previous admitadly vague information thats the cause of the question, it's not very helpful is it?

so where was i cring? i believe i asked another question, not cried.

and if i'm burning a bridge with you, i hope so, so you'll stay the **** out of my posts with you're less than steller responces

i don't sleep here but it seems like you do, so take your own advice.

i have no doubt, though i prefer answers to judgement, don't take offence to this jon but it'd be like him saying his kid ran away and was asking for help and then i called him a bad father.

No it would be like my kid running away, you saying he was in the grey house and I said no it's the grey/black house, but he isn't there and then asking for more help when I didn't listen the first time....THEN you could truly call me a bad father.

You were told it was a grey wire, asked if it was grey/vlack, told no iuts a grey wire and STILL you didnt listen.

Allow me to refresh your memory...
Valley wrote:me no think it's a series 2.... could the grey wire be the grey/black stripe wire??? only grey one i'm seeing.... other than the huge ones.
240sxed wrote:its not thick gauge, just like all other 18 gauge wires. About the same size as anyother on the rb. Theres a large blck connector with a large gauge red, red/blue wire plus some others comin out. about 8 wires, the grey wire is the injector wire, tap it to the 12 volt ignition
Yet STILL you went for the grey/black wire......

I am sorry if I really pissed you off, but when you are given help and don't pay attention it doesnt make sense to help you again....does it?

you misread my analogy but whatever, and to make it more acurate it'd be

you -"my kids missing; help"me - "grey house"-you check for a grey house in town--you only find a grey/black house so you check it out-you - "he's not in the grey/black house in town"me - "no you moron, he's in the grey house next town over"

thank you for the offer/advise kuillin

I just realized you were 18, sorry for questioning your skills. I guess the fact that I have been working on cars for the same amount of time you have been alive means nothing... Good luck on the car, I won't bother you again.
