I have found that the 63 is better for daily driving, especially in traffic. It will open the idle air control valve more than the manual 62 and thus requires less throttle to move places. This is useful when creeping along because you dont even need your foot on the gas on flat surfaces to roll. However the ECU likes to keep the idle high when you are above 1 mph, so it will try to hold it at like 1400 RPM's. To kill this you need to hook up an on off switch to the light blue IACV wire off the ECU. Or just live with the high idle.

If you cut this wire completely the car will basically run like the manual ECU was in control.

I used a 63 for 2 years and got about 28 mpg, used a 62 for a couple weeks and got about 20 mpg, so I will stick to the auto. But results may vary, my harness was an auto harness so the TPS signal is completely ignored by the ECU.
