I'm looking to replace my floor mats with a more eco-friendly version. I have heard about some custom mats made with coconut husk fibers, but I'd appreciate getting some feedback from others since they are kind of pricey at around $250-$300 a set. Does anyone have personal experience with these, or perhaps another option? Thanks!

Came standard with VW products! Still available as front door mats, so can't really be "expensive" unless ypou are visiting Yuppie resale outlets. Sisal fiber is a good alternative. So is Jute.

I haven't tried coconut husk fibers but if you are looking for an alternative that is also eco friendly, look for floor mats made from 100% recycled PVC or PET material. They are pretty good and affordable

Check out the Motortrend mats. They claim their mats are made with non-toxic and eco-friendly materials.
