ecm reset?

just ran seperate wire to ground for maf- now car will not start- getting spark and fuel but seems like injectors will not function- do i have to reset the ecm? how do i do it?

91 stanza (KA24E) M/T

yeah, you can reset it by disconnecting the battery from the terminals

was the other ground wire bad

defenitely bad ground- but cant understand why car wont start-injectors wont deliver fuel, will run on starting fluid for afew secs. engine lite flickers when turning over. thinking i fried ecu- so i swapped it out with a spare- same thing but no engine lite flickering. am trying to reset. any ideas?

you ran the ground from the black wire, and you didnt cut the original ground right
