Please help, I pulled my ecm on 2001 pathfinder, after replace the IACV. Look inside the ecm cover, found burned chip, so def needs a replacement. I have a question regarding ECM programming requires after ecm replace which I have to.

1. what is the program for, for the old key system (NATS) to match with the old keys so car can start?
2. or program to have new set of keys.

or 3. can I replace with ecm that came with keys so no programming is needed?
Please help as I am dumb and don't know much, but love to work on my car before having no choice but taking it to the dealer. Thanks.

OK, if the ECM was damaged due to a faulty IACV, you DO NOT need to replace the ECM.
Do NOT take it to a dealer and do NOT get sucked into buying either a new one or a rebuilt one. You could easily pay over $1,000.
This is a known problem and has been discussed on here numerous times.
Do a search under IACV replacement, and you'll fine tons of info.
There are several Companies that will repair the ECM for a very reasonable price.
I used Circuit Board Medics: https://circuitboardmedics.com/nissan-ecm-repairs/
Keep us posted.

Yeah, if the chip that relates to the security function is burned and replaced, then you would need to reprogram the ECM to recognize the chip etc.

... IF!
When I sent mine for repair (found vendor on ebay, based in Wisconsin), they mentioned I might need programming but I didn't. Never heard of anyone that needed it.

But you will probably have to do an idle relearn.

I didn't do an idle relearn on mine. I replaced IACV sent the ECM out to be repaired for about $90~
I did however clean the throttle body both sides and when I replaced the IACV.
I got the ECM back put it in, warmed up a few minutes and it idled right at 750. When I first start up it is around 900~ then lowers to where it should be at 750~, so for me that's fine for me.
