ecm problem

ive read that 97 nissan 4x4 4cyl pickups only have 2 ecm options fed and cali emisions. my truck has a federal b-131 ecm in it. i need a new ecm and i can only seem to find b-130 fed emisions ecms for the same identical truck. im pretty sure the cali emisions are mecm b-231. can someone tell me the diference between the b-130 and b-131? and are they interchangeable? or is my truck a fluke?

I am going to guess that they are manual and auto options since they are different. You can run an auto ECM in a manual truck but not vice versa. This is going based on my memory which is getting foggier by the day.

ok thats cool, somthin off topic, my trucks rear o2 sensor wires were melted and all 4 were fused together. do you think that would fry an ecm?
