ecm problem

i was told and read that 97 4cyl 5spd mt 4x4 nissan hardbodies only have 2 ecms options, federal and california emissions. my truck has a mecm b-131 fed emisions ecm and i ordered one from a junkyard outta the same identical truck with fed emisions and it is a mecm b-130. whats the diff and are they interchangeable? im pretty sure the cali ecms are mecm-231. really need some info on the b-131. ive only found one other one on ebay for 300 bucks and the b-130 ecms are everywhere
