ECM Intake Air Temp sensor??

it threw my CEL on, on my 97 q45. how do i go about fixing this problem?? is it the harness that connects to that extension part to the air box?? if so the plastic clip on the harness is broke, could it just be moving around?? how else could i diagnose this?

The '97 file is missing secitons, but the '98 should be basically the same.

If you can find the pins to which the thermistor (sensor) connects and measure the resistance it should be a couple of k depending on air temperature. Cool it with an ice cube or warm it with a hair dryer and it should change.

I had a bad solder joint where sensor connects to pins causing cel with intake air temp sensor code on a Mitsubishi.
