I have another thread in here with 74 posts regarding auto trans. issues. The trans. is still stuck in 3rd gear, so I have started addressing other issues. After replacing the TPS and resetting the ECM and TCM by disconnecting the battery, the car runs and idles 80% better, but still has a miss at low rpm after warm up (driving), and a miss when initially pressing the the accelerator with shifter in park. ECM code is 12 - Air flow meter circuit. All I can find in the FAQ's are AIV, IAA, IACV, and AAC. Air Fuel Ratio Meter is listed, but I'm not sure if that is the same as Air Flow Meter Circuit. The information in the FAQ's for AFR meter is sketchy at best to me. Can someone steer me in the right direction? MAF has already been checked in the previous thread, tested okay. 09quickly

air flow meter is same as maf (code 12).

I would try taking her out (careful with the electrical connector), douching the crap out of it with crc lectramotive, letting air dry, and then reconnecting. put some dielectric grease in the connector sickets as you remate those. do NOT allow anything to touch the element inside the maf, except the wet stream of cleaner. not even a q-tip.

Thanks for the info. I should have assumed it had to do with the MAF. In reading my last post to my other thread, I remembered that I took some voltage readings off the MAF, but never confirmed if it was bad or not. I will try your recommendations. 09quickly.
