I listened to an Eclipse Aluminun 12" model # 88120 getting 250w and damn it hit hard. The guy had one on sale(display item, so used) for $275, but I was wondering if anyone knew if I could get it for less. I checked ebay, but none. I think this is kind of an old model, and I'm not sure if its DVC or not, but I was wondering if their 8122 series is better(its newer).

I have a pair of the original Eclipse Aluminum 8812.6 in my trunk... they last forever when taken care of (proper box and power). As far as which is better, they are all so similar, I doubt that there is a difference. I have had them for about 3 years and I have not seen any reason to change them out.

Well I was just gonna say that I have the Audiobahn Alum series... that are just a copy of the Ecipse alums.. And I will say that they are one of the best subs i've ever hear for being a sealed SQ sub.. I would reccomend to anyone that if you want accurate but extremely loud clean bass... Go with the Eclipse Alums or Audiobahn Alums...
