ebrake

My ebrake is freaking retarded. I've changed the pads, bleed the brakes, adjusted the screw under the ebrake handle, but it still sucks. I've searched and read something about the cable lines...how do you check them to see if they're good? How would you know if they're good or bad? Does it has anything to do with the calipers, because i've took them out to paint them. thanks. Oh yea, i can't just park it in 1st because the car will slide down...yea...i know...need to change clutch. sigh

take the cable off and see if it slides freely. the calipers may be locked up if they are old. try moving the lever with your hand, it will be hard but it should move. maybe you just hooked them up wrong when you painted the calipers.
